  Our guide Jean was both knowledgable and friendly. She taught us about the geology and history of the area, allowing us to really experience the area. I recommend going in the evening, as the views at sunset are spectacular.

  My sister and I spent the morning with Derick on a private tour(only $20 each extra and so worth it). He was very personable, polite, and knowledgeable. He even played his flute for us, which was very moving. We saw all the major monuments and were allowed time for photographs. We learned about the Navajo culture and beliefs. We saw some petroglyphs. We saw all the spots Hollywood used for movies and commercials. We had a nice cool breeze to cool us. Our tour started at 8 am and lasted 2 1/2 hours. We would definitely recommend this tour and can't say enough about Derick. He was the greatest!
